March 7th, 2025 – WYALUSING, PA – Rachel’s Challenge delivered an impactful presentation at Wyalusing Valley Jr./Sr. High School to promote kindness and tackle bullying. The assembly centered on the legacy of Rachel Scott and introduced students to the “5 Challenges” that encourage looking for the best in others, dreaming big, choosing positive influences, and sparking their own chain reactions of kindness.
The presentation, by presenter Meichelle Gibson, resonated deeply with the students—some were moved to tears, while others eagerly engaged and shared the experience with their families. Inspired by the event, the school has launched a Friends of Rachel (FOR) club to continue spreading compassion through future initiatives like culture week and talent shows.
