November 15, 2024 – SAUCON VALLEY, PA – The Saucon Valley School District has partnered with Rachel’s Challenge, an evidence-based program dedicated to enhancing school culture and reducing bullying, violence, and suicide. The initiative promotes five key themes: seeking the best in others, dreaming big, choosing positive influences, speaking with kindness, and initiating a chain reaction of kindness.
Scheduled events include presentations at Saucon Valley Middle School on Monday, Nov. 18, 2024, Saucon Valley High School on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, featuring a community event at 7 p.m., and Saucon Valley Elementary School on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024. Founded in memory of Rachel Scott, the first victim of the 1999 Columbine High School tragedy, Rachel’s Challenge aims to foster kindness and acceptance within school environments.
